Praying for Others

“Confess your trespasses to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed…” James 5:12

Throughout the Bible we are shown that praying isn’t just a request in need of an answer, it’s also an avenue that God can use to work in our lives.

When offering to pray for someone feels like a big committment or an empty promise, remember that it is more than just adding your support for someone else and their situation, it’s an opportunity to have compassion for someone else or a situation that may not affect you.

Keeping a list of prayer requests and people to pray for can help make praying for others a part of our daily walk with God and open another way for Him to mold us into more compassionate and understanding followers of Christ.
